If you are ill for between 1 and 7 days, you must notify the contact person at your department/unit.
When you are well again, you should enter your declaration of illness for the entire period you were away from work in Primula Web. The declaration is sent via Primula Webb for information to your immediate superior and contact person.
If you are ill for more than 7 days, you must submit a doctor’s certificate to your workplace. You can send the doctor’s certificate directly to the Salary Office but must also inform your workplace of the extent and length of your sick leave. The Salary Office reports your illness to the Social Insurance Office (Försäkringskassan) after the period of sick leave.
You must send doctor’s certificates to your employer on an ongoing basis. The Salary Office forwards them to Försäkringskassan.
If you are ill for no more than 14 days, you should enter your declaration of illness for the period when you were away from work in Primula Web. The declaration is sent via Primula Web for information to your immediate superior and contact person.
If you have been ill for more than 14 days, you must submit a written declaration at the end of the period of illness to your contact person who forwards it to the Salary Office.
